Wannabe Photographer
If you have been a frequent reader of my blog, you will know that I only recently got a digital camera. Since then, I have been click click clicking anything and everything. Some of my photos are rubbish. But some are surprisingly pretty.
I've been taking photos of people, objects, nature and whatever else I find. I've tampered with my trusty Sony digital thingy, used all the options/features on it, so much that I think I qualify for a more professional camera now.
I was recommended a Canon SLR digital camera. Any other ideas?

I'm all for Canon but I think it's more important that you have the eye to see the picture and capture it..
I have used Canon EOS film before digital came and now i use the digital EOS and i am very impressed with it!

Stick to your digi cam. It's just a phase trust me, then you'll have an expensive Canon sitting on the shelf collecting dust. It's not fair to the camera.
I settled for my phone camera. I take pics of everything, my friends say feni 3irj hindi.

aaah nothin like an old Nikon now thats a real camera it actually goes "clickclick" when u take a photo not like those digital ones with all the sounds modified.. I still get out my old nikon and play with it sometimes but those digital ones fit better in a handbag!

thank u 4 ur encouragement, but really my pics r soooooooo not worth displaying..

Does anybody recommend a Nikon?
Lady, Nikon is just as good, it just depends on what you want, when you search, you will find that camera that belongs to you..
I would recommend the Canon Rebel XTi since its a really good camera, and still you can learn. I have the Rebel XT and I get fantastic pictures from them!
But I think its a little early for an SLR, Your pics should be up there! Put them up on flickr, but I think you should keep on clicking away, getting the right picture is a million times better then an advanced camera! :)
There are always Nikon people and Canon people ...
I happen to be a Nikon person ... Get the Nikon D80 beautiful camera ... the lens it comes with 18-135 is ideal for everyday shooting so if you don't want to invest in more lenses then you don't need to ...
i've had mine for around a 3 weeks now and i think it is one of the best investments i made for a while ...
