The Year of Change

I’ve been neglecting this blog. And it’s sad because I loved it so much. ‘Loved’ being the key word here. I don’t know if I love it as much as I used to. I thought about deleting it because I don’t want it to be just sitting there without any updates or anything. Like it was abandoned or something. I’m either going to have to post, or to delete the whole thing.

I have all these thoughts and ‘posts’ in my head, and I need to get them out but I just don’t have the time to do that! It’s crazy but before I started this blog, I would write things in my notebooks or scraps of paper and then transfer them to the computer. Now, I barely have the time to do that.. Awful!

Anyway, you know how everyone is going on about 2009 being the '”Year of Change”? Well, I’m starting to believe in it! So far, 3 months in, and I’m already feeling it.

  1. I changed my hairdo.
  2. I quit my job. It was horrendous!
  3. I almost got engaged/married. Almost! (This is such a long story that it needs it’s own post)

For some of you, this may not be a big deal, but for me it is. I haven’t changed my hair for so long! So this is a giant leap for me. I quit my job during such a bad time in the economy, whereas everyone is hanging on to their jobs for dear life. But I just couldn’t do it anymore! Almost getting engaged is crazy for me because during the past couple of years I became marriage-phobic (if such a word exists). The mere mention of marriage to me would send my stomach into a lurch!

So there you go! 3 months in, 3 new things!

This lady is embracing 2009. How about you?

Wow, you've been having a big year! Shame on you for not sharing all this hot gossip with us sooner ;-)

I was marriage phobic too. In fact, I still am! How I got married, I'll never know. MrB must be exceptional.

I, and many others, did not stop checking this blog so I do not think you should stop posting. I will, hopefully, be graduating this year, so It is for sure a year of change!

Good to see you make an entry, Lady. :-)

I was marriage-phobic, too. Now, I've been married a LOOOOOONNNGGGG time. When I met the right man, I knew it, he knew it, and we still know it.

Hold out. Hold on!
